Workshop: Measuring Outcomes for Non Profit Organizations: Metrics, Logic Models…and More

Description

Overview:

How do you evaluate the impact of your program? “You are what you count,” so this course will provide an introduction to the measurement of outcomes, sometimes referred to as success metrics, including Logic Models, their makeup and how to create them, CQI, and change management. 

As part of the course, the students will be introduced to the basics of goal setting, root cause analysis and the importance of measures, their creation, and ways of displaying them. 


Objectives: 
Participants will learn to:
• Explain the importance of measures and evaluations to a non profit’s success,
• Develop SMART Goals for their organization’s programs,
• Explain what a logic model is, its parts and its importance, 
• Create a logic model,
• Develop a set of measures for their organization’s programs based on the logic model, and
• Be able to show the organization’s program outcomes to funders and other interested parties, based on the logic model.
